Yeah, sounds gimmicky, but Kammock is a legit company, and this looks like a very well thought-out and executed design: Kammock Sunda. At 4ish pounds (having trouble deciphering the listed weights) this sounds like a pretty reasonable and versatile backpacking shelter.

Interesting idea and considering the features, not a bad weight at all. It's not my thing but I tend to like shelters for a specific goal vs. a do-all shelter.

It removes the feature I like the most about the hammock. Does not look like one could roll around and make the hammock conform to you, instead of you conforming to the hammock. Hammocks like that exist already and I have no interest in them. The tent is too short for my liking. Nope.
