My friend and I were supposed to hike over 3 days in the grand canyon south rim (9/2-9/4) but she changed her plans at the last minute. I was thinking of doing the rim-river-rim on saturday--about a 12-14 hour hike, and maybe other trails like grandview/hermit's/rim on other days. I will fly into Phoenix on 9/2 and plan to drive up there. If someone is hiking out there that weekend and don't mind some company (of a guy), let me know. I usually don't hike alone but this time around, i will if I have to. I also tried to look up some online bulletin boards around the grand canyon area to post this but couldn't find any.
