Looking for the super glue and epoxy my wife bought me I happened on some BP stuff. Long forgot about. An old First Need filter, four small aluminum fuel canisters. Ya know, these were right in front of me hanging on the wall above the work bench, but had been ignored. Suspect I'll get a couple of washers for the old fuel bottles. Those I got years ago when my son worked at canoe outfitters in the BWCA and were being thrown out for more modern versions. I do use one with a good washer for denatured alcohol for fondue. The First Need is all there except for a connection from the filter and the hose to suck in water. Its about 20 years old, but the hoses don;t looked cracked. I've have another filter and should throw the FN out, but it has memories. I'll see what I can do. Tomorrow I might go through some old backpacks and see what I stashed in them. I suspect a lot of stuff sacks and .... How about you? Any found old treasures?
