Hello
I and my lady are planning to take one to two hour hike in both states: Utah and Idaho. We would like to hike in the areas where we can enjoy the views. I am a hard-core hiker while my lady is not. She can probably take novice to intermediate hiking trails.
The routes we are planning to take is from Shiprock (Hwy 64) to Hwy 191 in Utah (Blanding, Monticello, Moab, Price, and Park City), and get on I-15 to Pocatello/Blackfoot,Idaho then get off on Hwy 93 (to Stevensville).
We would like to hike two different (Utah and Idaho) areas for one-two hours of hiking. Any suggestions we ought to hike in those areas.
Thanks!

I'm probably too late, just joined today.
Here in Pocatello an easy trail is called City Creek. It starts on the edge of town and has a gentle climb up the western slope.
