Has anyone been up in the Boulder Pass area recently? We are doing the Bowman Lake to Kintla Lake circuit starting on 8/22. Our itinerary is: BOW>HOL> 2 nights at BOU>UPK. We are curious if there are any lingering snow hazards between Hole in the Wall and the Boulder Pass campground. Also we plan on tackling Boulder Peak and either Mount Peabody or possibly Forum Peak. We assume it is late enough in the season that ice axes/traction will not be necessary but want a little local wisdom if any is available.

Thanks, I just threw the questions up on their Forum as well. We are so stoked about this trip it will be difficult to get through the next week and a half at work.

Another 'thing' you might want to track is InciWeb. For my wife and I, our next backpacking trip will require a drive-to change but thanks to InciWeb we were able to make adjust the drive-to.
