I'm looking for another couple of people for a backpacking trip to Grand Teton National Park with Yellowstone day hikes. We'll meet in the evening on Saturday August 28 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The next day we'll start a 5 Day, 4 night ,48 mile backpacking trip in Grand Teton National Park. Highlights include Static Peak, Hurricane Pass, Schoolroom Glacier, Sunset Lake, and Paintbrush Divide. Then we'll head out to Yellowstone and see the highlights, camp overnight there 3 nights, day hike Mount Washburn, 7.2 miles, and head out. If you only want to stay in Yellowstone a night or 2, that's fine too. There will be 12 total people, and the permits and campsites have already been reserved.

I'm looking for another couple of people ...And this is all just a fun get-together? No charges involved? I removed the links because they only repeated what you said here, never a mention of money! You sound pretty commercial and that is a no-no. Am I wrong?

It's not commercial at all, its a trip I got permits for and need a couple of more people.. If you don't allow the links that's fine. No charges involved.

It's not commercial at all Well, it still sounds commercial, but I'll accept your word. And if that FB link was somehow more informative, put it back. Evernote? Please skip that part. Thanks for clarifying this.

Guys, check the link (---crap link AND new member both removed!--) for men's leather backpack, if you really want to have a comfortable trip. These leather backpacks are handy and could used in any kind of backpacking trip. Try it I reported it to bp2go as well, but it needs a soundtrack, what with "mens leather backpacks and all"

This is another sneaky way to get spam into threads!~ Second time in two days with a new member posting for leather products! The forum is attracting way too many spammers these days and I am being kept busy. But thanks for the reports, guys. I can't be online every minute.

I hope to find a couple of experienced people to join.. the permit is for 12 and right now we have 10 so please let me know if you want to go on this incredible adventure! Previous experience is preferred, and no this isn't a commercial thread!

We had the same problem when we had our talk forum with the vbulletin software and were getting over 100 post a day from the russian spammers. As the forum grows so will the headaches.

Mirror Lake is quite a bit more of a highlight than Sunset. Why would a real hiker choose Washburn over Avalanche Peak?
Leather is pretty darn heavy and impractical in several other ways for actual backpacking and day hiking.
Pass the treated meat.
