Hi folks!
Ermm where do I start? ... well to start off with my name's Mike, I'm 28 and living in North Wales, UK. Single and currently working for a property maintenance company. we travel all over Wales and to be fair, it's an amazing place to live and work, peaceful and relaxed (he says as there is a dog barking in a neighbours garden 😜 )
I've always wanted to travel and see the world but was too lazy to do anything about it until recentlywhen i got my passport and traveled to Turkey with friends and their children. It wasn't for me, lazing around for 2 weeks in the blistering heat (was averaging 42 Celsius during our trip). Through the day you lay by the pool and during the night you watch a performance and an act for the kids. With me not having any children i didnt enjoy it one bit. There was no english speaking families besides us, the staff didnt speak English. 4 days into it I was bored stuck in the same place.
When we finally got back to the UK I started looking for something with a Wow factor. Growing up id always thought what it would be like to stand beside the pyramids of giza, walk through Petra, or to sit and have a coffee in Machu Picchu as the sun rises. I've asked friends and family if they'd be interested in doing anything and theyre not the type. They enjoy sun, pool and beer. I don't drink and with me being single i looked into a backpacking/hiking trip as I wouldn't mind doing it alone as long as I was with a small group of others. I've been looking into a Machu Picchu tour. There's that many out there that offer so much from a 2 day trip to a 3 month trip. Well I've got my heart set on something that ends up in Machu Picchu.
Well, thats me and why I'm here, hope to get to know you guys..
