"Remarkable hotel hosts guests in clear capsules suspended 400 ft. on mountain" bit.ly/1e4SUVHAll that hardware bolted in is not very low impact, might fun though.

Well, hmmm. I suppose it would be an adventure. And it would be fun gliding along those cables for hundreds of feet. But the setup is a bit too artificial for me. Farmland and highway dominate the view below. And rather than have the satisfaction of feeling that I entirely relied upon my own skills, I'd be reminded at every step that someone else put a lot of work securing rebar steps and cables to the cliff side in order to make my ascent easier. And then there are those pods. Yuk. No thanks. It's not for me.

Hmm. My gut reaction kind of mirrors Travis'. I can appreciate it'd be a novel way to spend the night. But having had better views in front of me on numerous occasions, all the while not encapsulated in a "pod" built by someone else and surrounded by several other "pods", I think I'd rather save the money, hike up to a lonely off-trail ridge tip with nary another soul around, and spend the night there virtually for free.
That's just me though, and I don't fault others for wanting to go visit that resort. It does seem novel and kind of exciting, in its own way. Just doesn't seem worth the money to me personally.
