Hello fellas, I am looking for a hiking trail in Germany where I can hike with some friends for a whole week, but I didn't found one with camping areas yet, thats kinda a problem because wild camping is a bit illegal. It's gonna be my first time that I am gonna do such a long hike. Does anyone know a good hiking trail with enough camping areas? We are planning to do every day something like 10 km (6 miles). Thanks alot and sorry for my crappy English, I live in Belgium.

a hiking trail in Germany AS soon as I saw that I remembered that a woman had posted about trail that might work for you? I searched the forum and found her post from last November: bpbasecamp.freeforums.net/post/14486/threadShe offered both a few "daily reports" but also offers a YouTube trail journal. This could be what you are looking for. Good luck, and welcome to the forum. PS: Your English is fine.

From following InterludeAdventure's hikes referenced above, I think the answer is that while wild camping is discouraged in Germany The Black Forest region bordering Belgium has quite a few trails ,including the Eifel, that have roads, towns, inns, huts, campgrounds at regular intervals due to the region having been inhabited for so long.
For a more wilderness experience you could ,perhaps, try the French or Swiss Alps...

Eifel is definitely a beautiful area in Germany! This is a link to the Wilderness trail that crosses the whole Eifel, the site offers good tips for a hike planner! And as rwtb123 above pointed towards France, you should never forget the Haute Vosges area in France, from Brussels it is about 4 - 5 hours of driving, plenty of huts and beautiful trails there, and wild camping is a lot less illegal! Already a little bit mountainous terrain too. Br Also living in Belgium.
