Hey everyone,
Planning a two nighter this weekend either in the lost creek, or buffalo peaks wilderness. I have mixed information from ranger station regarding where snow levels are at. (anywhere from 10,000 ft - 11,500 ft) I'm wondering if anyone has been in the zone recently and has some good intel?
Thanks!

The closest SNOTEL info I can sort out is Michigan Creek in South Park and Hoosier Pass between Breckenridge and Alma. Michigan Creek Hoosier Pass The Colorado Trail Foundation reports segments 1-5 passable. Essentially from Waterton Canyon, through Lost Wilderness to Kenosha Pass. I'd give it a go!

No more snotel at Rogh and Tumbling Creek?
Great ridgeline, amazing wildlife. Bet you see elk and bighorns. When I lived in the Springs I went to Salt Creek or Lynch Creeek few times a year. That free cabin up there is AWESOME.
