Good day everyone,
I am planning a first time trip to Alaska and have been trying to find the best location to start the trek. If anyone has any suggestions regarding either a loop or out and back trail that has great fly fishing and nature watching while attempting to NOT be around humans that would be fantastic! This trail can be around 30-45 miles and I am planning on bringing 12 days worth of food but can extend that by a day or two if need be. SO far many sources have recommend flying into Anchorage and then renting a car and driving around 105-120 miles to the area of Crescent lake.....Thanks!
