Now I hope no one thinks the elk should be shot.

They need to put her in the back of the truck and take her to the ranger station. She looks dumb.

This is why elks should be in zoos. I hear Cincinnati's nice this time of year.

Great, now the Park Rangers are going to have to track that woman down and shoot her.

Judging by the spot she was standing and where she was getting up at, that was a good hit.
Remember when videoing dumbasses, keep the camera on the dumbass!

She was VERY lucky it wasn't later in the season: a full set of antlers and she'd be dead.

Honestly, I kind of feel sorry for the woman. Yeah, she was lucky — to use an understatement. But when you think of people backing up a couple feet from bison and attempting selfies, or trying to pet bison (!) — what this woman did wasn't quite as foolhardy as what others have done and gotten away with.
Her last words in the video, "It won't happen again." Too bad others won't get the message.

Well, the reason she was attacked was EXACTLY because of the current season. That's a cow elk, not a bull with antlers, and she's quite pregnant. Cows get very private and temperamental this time of year when they're preparing to give birth...

Did anyone notice that once the elk actually turns toward the camera? I wonder if she's learned a human trait and wants to have a selfie taken of herself.
