Call me skeptical but I'm seeing a $200 Easy Bake Oven (remember those?) OK, maybe 250 watts will be more effective than the 100 watt light bulb in those toy ovens but I'm not seeing seeing anything about actual cooking, just "heating", which can mean a lot of things. Can it even bring contents to a boil? How long to bring that 500 ml capacity to a boil? Red flag for me that I can't find that benchmark on their website anywhere.
It also seems impractical for anything but solo use. You wouldn't bring a 500 ml pot for a group.
Interestingly enough, their website compares the $199 price tag against a "$150 gas stove" and compares its size/weight against a conventional thermos. Hard to know who they're targeting the product for.

Okay, now someone has to pull out the Easy Bake and do some trials...
Easy Bake vs. MSR Wind Pro, or the Whisperlite, or even the Pocket Rocket.
Stack it up against an alcohol stove -- White Box?
Or how about the Easy Bake against the Bakepacker?

How well does it work at say, 10,000 ft and 0C?

For off the grid? Definitely a possibility. An option to a generator for sure.
