Does anyone on here participate in letterboxing or geocaching? Interested if there are many locations on backpacking trails. I haven't done geocaching yet, but I have done a few letterboxing treks. The only one I found on a hike in a NP was at Hocking Hills in Ohio.

I'll be on the Four Pass Loop in August, don't see one on the trail. Maybe I'll stash one there.

The problem might be that a lot of national park back country is designated wilderness where geocaching would be illegal as nothing like that can be left in a wilderness area.
