I had a cycling accident 2 weeks ago that gave me a type 3 shoulder seperation. At this point I have decided not to do surgery on it so it looks like I am going to have this permanent bump on my right shoulder. For anyone that has had this happen, can you still carry a backpack comfortably with that bump on your shoulder? Thanks.

Most of the injury related experiences/questions receive a better response over on the trailhead register.A number of people over there (who don't post here)have related injury experiences that might be helpful to you(and faroutfarley).And,in addition to your doctor's opinion I would also search the internet for professional medical/rehab advice on this issue.
