Maybe next time they'll help a grizzly cub.

It really makes you wonder if these people read the news. How many times do we need a news report of people doing stupid things around bison before they begin to figure it out?

I mean, I get the sentiment, but really? Just google "should I put a baby bison in the car" Nope.

Personally, I consider any hoofed creature weighing almost a ton to be at least potentially dangerous, especially if it has a runny nose.

Not surprising. It's a common ending with deer fawns that people think are abandoned when the mother goes away to feed. They are not abandoned until the mother returns to find a fawn smelling of humans. That is when it abandons its own offspring.

On a cool morning in LA, I drove by a save the animals rally. Stopped by a red light a woman, wearing a fur coat, asked if I wanted to donate to save the animals. I recently read, in Sierra, that pets will become a thing of the past. 'We' will not have the land to grow both pet food and human food. The Oceans are dying. North Dakota’s first wolverine in 150 Years is shot and killed. Last time I checked the cow is the invasive species. Krill, the bottom of the ocean food chain, are dying from choking on plastic. US lawmakers want to open up our national lands for resource exploitation. My wife can randomly walk off trail, days away from the car, and find a 5 gallon plastic can. Now this. We are killing it but before it dies, I am going out there to enjoy whats left. Oh, what kind of survival instinct do 'we' have when we are killing the world we live in?

Oops, I just posted about this in the petting bison post. Oh well. It's about twice as sad as most. Foolish attempt to help killed the baby they wanted to save. Sounds like that old road to hell quote.
