Is there anyone who can recommend a hiking shoe for women that is size 12.5 or (possibly a 12 that people frequently find to run long)? I have an "almost narrow" foot, and, as a men's regular width is the same as a women's wide, men's shoes rarely work for me. I step out of most men's shoes (shoe heel too wide) and have blackened a toe by slipping forward and banging the front of the boot. This is a real problem, as most manufacturers don't make women's hiking shoes past a size 11. Low, mid, high, hiking shoe or backpacking... I am desperate to find something that fits. Very frustrated with online shoe shopping sites that automatically display men's shoes when I plug in my size. I've been getting by on a pair of men's Columbia's which most customers complained about as too narrow, but they have been discontinued (and weren't all that great to begin with.). Much thanks to anyone who can send me in the right direction.

How do you fit a mens narrow 'B' size? Danner has a boot available 12-13 B.

ASICS makes sneakers in your size. Many people are hiking in trail runners, which aren't all that different from sneakers.

I wear Mens size 10.5, which is I think equivalent to Womens size 12 or so... All my shoes that I have worn without issues have been that size. I don't have issues with width -- people say mens are too narrow, but I have the typical women's narrow heel and wear them all without issues, have done so since before bunions became an issue for me. Keen, Lowa, Treksta, and Hoka One Ones. I am currently wearing the Keens though the Hokas give me more cushion for the neuroma in my left foot, because the Hokas cause a lot of blistering due to the narrowness of the forefoot.
Try shoes on. If you have a very narrow foot you might need New Balance, which have more size range than most brands. My boyfriend wears narrow EE and has size 16.5 feet. It's the only brand that works for him....
