I'm going to be visiting a friend near Ogden either the last week in June or the first week in July. We want to do a 4 day 3 night trip in the High Uintas. We are experienced backpackers and will have our 2 dogs, on leash, with us. Can anyone recommend something that would be secluded, don't like a lot of traffic, and yet offer spectacular views and scenery? We hiked the Kamas Lake area 2 years ago so we would like something different. Thanks.

A few of us hiked to and camped at Dollar Lake on the way to Kings Peak. It was pretty secluded and made a great basecamp. That was about 10 years ago. There might still be snow up there at the end of June. Here is someone's write up of their hike. link
