I recently hiked to the beautiful, little-known views on Kellogg Mtn in SGL 36 south of Towanda. The views were impressive from striking white cliffs, which were wide balconies of overhanging rock. The range of the views was diverse, from looking across a nearby glen, to valleys, tiers of ridges, rolling peaks and plateaus, and distant farmlands. The views were about 20-30 miles. The sunrise would be great from these vistas. There were three views from the cliff rim. After, I stopped by the beautiful Lamoka Rapids on Schrader Creek as the clear water surged through the sculpted, smooth bedrock. Another hidden gem in PA.
