Okay, you like to post with purple.Good for you. So to make it always ready for use, create some text in Preview mode, color it your chosen shade, then see thatswitch to the BB Code view, the code shows right there: [font color="df0abd"]purple[/font]
Copy that code, open your Profile>Settings, look at the box for Default BBCode. Paste your code there. You would remove any TEXT that is in between the tags (like the word purple in the example). Then when you fire up a new message, the tags are there with no content! Create your message between the tags and post it; Presto! Purple.. Have fun. N.B., many colors do not work well,as text colors. Be advised.

First off, I can't see a "Settings" tab until I actually click the "Edit Profile" button on the far right after clicking the "Profile" item in the list at the top of the forum page, and then the only "box" I see is the "Your Personal Smilies" box. This is probably because my "Posting Default" selection is set to "Preview" (6th item in the "Forum Preferences" list.) The "Default BBCode" box does not appear until I select "BBCode" under "Posting Default". Just sayin'...

Okay, let's try again: I assumed that the Profile link was recognized as the one along the tpo in the link lineup under the Backpacker logo. So you did get to that, good! Yes, I should have said use the Edit Profile button seen on far right. Once in the EDIT view, see Settings. Once in the Settings area, look down to see a text box with Default BBCode above it and a line of text telling you that whatever you put into that box will always be added to whatever you post. This is where you put a signature, for example. BUT if you snag the text color code as described, then paste that code into the box without any text between te tags, when you create a NEW post, the tags will be there waiting for you to type your message in between the tags, and Presto, your message will appear with text that is harder to read by stylish beyond compare! PS: If your Default is Preview, you need to tap BB Code to even find the color code, and that button wont be in the Quick Reply text window,m only in the REPLY window (upper-right over every message.)
