Hello, everyone. I hope this topic doesn't violate any forum rules. Anyway, here's the question: me and a couple of friends are considering starting a company centered around taking foreigners hiking in our region. We live in central Siberia, near lake Baikal and have plenty of beautiful places to take people. So right now now I'm checking if anyone is even interested in this and would be grateful for your opinion.

There was some discussion in the previous version of this forum of the Shihote Alin range in the far east of Russia.Someone posted a video called "The Secret Forest",and was interested in traveling there for hiking/backpacking.It interested me enough that I looked up several areas popular for backpacking ,and it is somewhere on my to do list.Bicycle touring would also likely generate some interest in the area where you are.

One of my favorite outdoor movies: Letters Never Sent takes place in Siberia. Siberia is a rather large region, so I'd want a specific area of operations more defined, along with seasonality.
