I worked in Yellowstone Park a couple summers in the mid 80's with a maintenance crew made up primarily of teenagers. We saw enough bad behavior that it even made teenagers shake their heads.
Every ranger we worked with/for had a favorite set of stories of dumb tourists who totally believed they were in Jellystone Park and risked their lives for a blurry picture that they'd have to wait for three days minimum to get developed to see if it was good.
Selfies had not yet been invented, so most folks just lined up all in attendance in front of [blocking] the thing they wanted to look at forever.
