So, do any of you slap outdoor gear & travel stickers on your vehicles? If so, let’s see ‘em. I’m guilty… DR

If any of those gear companies want to pay me for this advertising, I'd be glad to!
For $10,000 I'll get a Patagonia tattoo on my hiney.

I HATE stickers. Seems like every single thing I order these days comes with stickers. Totally unneccesary waste. And no, I am not going to cover my car with your stickers and give you free advertising, and I don't need show the world how cool I am by covering all my possessions with hip outdoor brands.

I'm an incognito automobile owner. The more I blend in the better. Neutral to the outside world. No stickers and no Snickers for that matter!

I don’t have company/corporation stickers but do have some stickers promoting areas and causes on my pickup and camper. Pickup: Ski Red Lodge Mountain, Protect our pubic lands, Public Landowner, Billings Trailnet, Montana Wilderness Association bumper sticker.
Camper. Stylized map of USA, Get Lost in Montana, Absaroka-Beartooth Alliance, Support our public lands, Montana: Last Best Place

Half the time, I don't have valid inspection stickers. Ad stickers go on my well-appointed bear can. Discerning bears quickly get I'm a catch and release fly fisherman by my Patty and RL Winston fly rod logos. No sense hanging around for a trout carcass, ain't happenin'. I guess they have mixed feelings about z-packs and such. Osprey may be a little confusing. On the other hand, not advertising on our car/truck is designed so discriminating heroin/meth users might move on to better targets that tell what might be inside for shopping right on the windows. Pick me! Pick me!

The only sticker I have ever put on a car was a very discreet KQED sticker on the old Subaru. I agree about not giving free advertising (I virtually never wear clothing above my feet that has visible logos, either—if they want me to wear and advertisement, they should pay me, not vice versa), as well as about not making my car a target. I slap my more political/activist stickers on a liter water bottle that stays at home.

To each their own. It's not my thing. I also don't wear printed t-shirts (except when my team is playing a game) and hate brand logos on my clothing.
The only bumper sticker I'd consider is "My life philosophy does not fit on a bumper sticker."

We never put a sticker on a vehicle until we got our well-used Ford E-350 van, stripped out the two back seats, installed a bed, and created Le Vin Blanc--our escape vehilce. And we've taken it on a LOT of escapes: We started just putting the National Parks on the back bumper... Then we started with National Monuments around the side. Now it's become an art installation, and we keep adding... Rules are that we have to had had a signification experience at each of them--camping there, backpacking there, serious hiking there. No fair just driving through for the sticker! And it has to be in the van--no fair adding other places we've been without the van. Points for anyone who can identify every single sticker! Or the three that are neither National Monuments or National Parks...

I wonder what people from deep red states think when they see that van with CA plates and all the stickers? They might jump to the conclusion that a very liberal older white retired couple own it.

Why do you say that? Because of this? “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” Mark Twain.
