With a teensy uptick in the creepymeter. Maybe two… 😎
So no more dumping smartphones and keys etc in a tray, they’ve got tech to just scan you thoroughly as you enter the gate…
I’m medium okay with that, I am very attached to my phone.
The other is they offer a completely contactless entry where I can just walk in without scanning a ticket (which is all digital btw): how? Facial recognition. I “just” register my face to my MLB account and as I walk in and smile for the cameras they look up and validate my ticket in the digital account. That one, while optional, does cause some pausing, , but I’m enough of a geek that after opening day I might give it a try (to get opening day I had to buy a 3 game bundle).
Anyone else encountered biometric ticketing or is this a baseball thing?

Try going through passport control these days.
I have global entry. Camera takes a photo and tells me to proceed. I walk directly up to the agent in the kiosk and he says,"Welcome back, Paul."
Straight through to baggage claim and out the door, five minutes from when I left the plane.

I used MPC (Mobile Passport Control) for my recent entry into the country, with similar results. And it’s free. I was going to upgrade to Global Entry, but probably not worth it, as I’m hoping to stay in-country for a season or two (that was what I said when I got Pre without Global Entry—then my BiL came up with this great idea for a trip to Africa…)
