A tad out of my price range, but really nice. I like the boxy look coming back to SUVs. This luxury SUV looks like it can handle off-reading, too. Poor gas mileage on this ride. I like it has body-on-frame construction like the Toyota 4Runner. So, what do you think of the new Lexus? gearjunkie.com/motors/2024-lexus-gx-overtrail-first-drive-reviewHappy Trails, DR

(At the risk of getting abused again,) I'm a Tesla fan, and I'm waiting for my Cybertruck.

If a Cyber truck needs repair is that expensive and will it take as long as delivering one?

Hopefully the CT will be tough. (And, FWIW, my experience with Tesla service has been good.)

I heard there may be a float kit for the Cybertruck in the future. Right now the cabin is sealed/watertight. It would just need a little extra flotation.

The new Lexus is getting a lot discussion in 4Runner forums. I'll stick with my 4R until it can't go or I can't go.

The new Lexus is getting a lot discussion in 4Runner forums. I'll stick with my 4R until it can't go or I can't go. How often do you use the capabilities of your 4R in terms of getting to trailheads on roads that would be impossible for my VW Golf? Monetarily, there's a break-even point between a less expensive fuel efficient car for the vast majority of driving vs renting a 4WD vehicle with high ground clearance when the need arises. I have no doubt you need those capabilities much more often than I do. An additional factor is reducing my carbon footprint, the one virtue I see in the Cyber Truck. My next vehicle will likely be an EV, but due to range concerns I'll wait until solid state batteries hit the market in 5 years or so. Meanwhile, I really enjoy driving my zippy little turbocharged hatchback with a 5 speed manual transmission.

reducing my carbon footprint The Cybertruck is the final piece of the puzzle in my personal quest to eliminate direct fossil fuel usage for my immediate family. In our experience, range is not a problem, and we live in rural Montana (90 miles from the nearest stop light). My wife and kids have taken many road trips in the Teslas (over 5000 miles on one trip in 2021).
