La Sportiva just opened up its first brick & mortar store in the USA in Boulder, Colorado. The company plans to expand its presence in the US market. I really like their products. I have a pair of their Ultra Raptor trail runners. Very, very nice. I saw that La Sportiva is making wider shoe sizes now. This should really help in the US market. It would be nice to know their plans on what market they plan on opening a new store in the future. It would be great to get one here in the Pacific Nortwest. fashionunited.com/news/retail/la-sportiva-opens-debut-store-in-the-united-states/2024011657886Happy Trails, DR

Thanks for the link. Interesting store design with those beams. It figures they would open near good climbing. I like their approach shoes - review of the TX3: La Sportiva TX3

A little more on La Sportiva’s plans in the USA. I’d really like to see more of their apparel and outerwear in person so I could try it on. I’ve really liked the La Sportiva footwear I’ve had in the past; however, due to the sizing of different models, it was hit or miss, mostly due to width (and I wear 11D, which is regular width). I seem to enjoy their lively colors in footwear, so I’m sure I’d enjoy their new offerings in jackets and shirts. One thing I’ve noticed as of late from La Sportiva is they’re staring to offer shoes in wider sizes. I wonder if they’ll have to increase their sizes in apparel to match the US market? I believe Norrona is doing this, too. It would be great if one of our Basecampers who lives near Boulder could get out and check the store out and give us an update on the store (it looks great from the photos). I’m hopeful they’ll expand their brick & mortar stores to the Pacific Nortwest. thedaily.outdoorretailer.com/news/brands-and-retailers/la-sportiva-takes-aim-at-us-market-with-colorado-store/Happy Trails, DR

La Sportiva and Salomon have always been too narrow for me, so I'm glad to hear L-S will be making wider footwear.
