Well, after pouring over the EMS website again and again, I finally ordered two identical Tinker Swiss Army knives. Pretty disappointed in EMS's stuff. On the other hand, the $50 coupon certainly was generous.

Not a very exciting option, but a practical one. I'm sure they will serve you well.

It’s a nice line. I’ve had a Super Tinker for decades and it remains a useful tool set.

You can't have too many Swiss Army knives. They get lost constantly. I had two identical knives already and one other model, but they were stuck and I was only able to free up one of them after attempts with various cleaning products.

I bought my first one in Switzerland during a bike tour there. I had it for years and used it constantly. Very upset when I lost it, it had a lot of sentimental value. Didn't you get excited about pocket knives as a kid?

I haven't carried a SAK in quite a while, but I definitely still get excited about blades. Most recent purchase was a Benchmade Mini-bugout, which I absolutely love.

My dad passed on his love of blades to me. I grew up with a reverence for them. Using a sharpening stone is exciting and peaceful to me at the same time.
