I recently hiked at Nescopeck State Park. The trails were easy and beautiful, featuring ponds, wetlands, vernal pools, streams, and a great hike along the Nescopeck Creek and its hemlock forests. If you go, do not miss hiking the Creekside Trail. The park is very diverse with 160 species of birds and over 600 plant species. It covers 3,500 acres and has 19 miles of trails. I hope to return to see the other trails.
