It is Stew. There's been some incredible Weather up on the one to the left and there is "great value" in the other one. What would Chief Ouray think?

I might hazard a guess, but then I'd just post "some lame photo of the Beartooths"

I feel completely set up by marmotstew. But I can't resist a wild guess: It's Wetterhorn Peak ( topo), around a mile WSW of Matterhorn Peak in the Uncompahgre Wilderness of the San Juans. Photo probably taken from the Middle Fork (Cimarron River) Trail north of the peak.

Yes, Wetterhorn from Wetterhorn Basin (west). A beautiful place with plenty of solitude. Thanks for clarifying the direction. I have to agree that it's a very beautiful area. I was thinking Middle Earth. And you'd be right, but continental drift messed everything up. Okay, now for the anti-climax, name the lake. (Anyone who followed my last photo should not find this one difficult.)

Lake Solitude in the Bighorns is west of Bomber Mountain. Ooops, go east and around 1600 feet higher.
