Another clue, this range overlooks one of this state's highest agricultural valley.

Phantom Terrace, Sangre de Cristos. I’ll pass on my turn if I’m right because a) I don’t have time and b) don’t know how to post photos and don’t have time today to learn. Ok bye.

marmotstew,
Yes we have a winner. Does anyone else want to take the lead?

I'd always heard the San Luis was the largest "Alpine Agricultural Valley" in the world. I've hike the Comanche-Venable Loop a few times, just magical.
Lets let the person that completely answers Woody's question take the lead, ok folks?
Have a great day everyone.

For those who have not hiked the trail, here's an up close picture of the ledge you go across, The Phantom Terrace.

Travis has a turn coming after he identified my trifecta of Utah arches. Eeee gads, what have I done?! I merely summarized other people's work. Okay, since this is not a photo thread with emphasis on quality, I'll post an old photo of lousy quality. (This was taken before I had the opportunity to take lousy photos with a better camera.) The trail vicinity shown in the photo below is near one of the state's most popular trails. Name the trail.

The trail is in a national park and is named for the 14ner it climbs.

Name the peak where I'm standing in this photo: Here's another photo of it, from another peak. Extra glory if you also name the peak from which this photo was taken!

If I didn't know any better, I'd say the first picture was taken from Mt Wood in the Beartooths. It looks familiar. I probably have a similar picture but unfortunately they were slides or I'd post it. And I bet the second picture was taken from the summit of Granite Peak.

I've spent very little time on the mountain west, but I'd call that Flat Top Mountain.
