Looks like my favorite online mapping tool is down--and has been down for a few days.
acmemapper.com
Anyone else manage to load the site?

Very weird. Loads on my phone. Must be something with my desktop computer...

Try another browser. If it works in Edge (which I strongly dislke) then you know it's your Chrome settings.
Try resetting Chrome to it's defaults. This is not as disruptive as it sounds. Don't delete cookies, etc. Just reset the browser to it's defaults.

I just tried it in Firefox, Bing, Opera and Chrome and it worked fine.

Uh oh.
Whenever something like this happens to me, I immediately suspect !VIRUS! - but it probably is most often some setting on your system that you forgot, or an application you installed that's changed something for its own benefit.
The Spotify application, which I've owned for more than a decade now, refuses to run on my Windows 10 desktop PC, though it runs on every other device I own: iPad, iPhone (all of them), Android tablet, other PCs and laptops (even an old one running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS) etc., etc. It also runs from the "Administrator" login on the desktop PC, but not on my personal login. I've done error log traces and such, but I can't pin down what's keeping it from running.

I'm hearing from some other people on line that they are having issues as well...when I run a diagnostic, I get a message that says that my computer seems to be configured correctly, but the that hosting site is not responding...

I'd clear all my cookies. There is no sign in for AcmeMapper, so you gain nothing by having an old cookie saved by your browser. If you don't want to lose all your cookies for sites you do sign in on, then use another browser and clear all the cookies for that browser only and then try the same browser to access AcmeMapper.

I finally need glasses. I keep skimming the topics list and thinking this thread is named "Acnemapper" So finally I mustered the courage to google the word "acnemapper" - it wasn't as horrifying as I feared.

Who is your ISP? It could be them not you. Most of the rest of us are likely on different service providers. Just a thought.
