I'm looking for a 3 day(ish) hike suggestions in western PA (maybe WV) but I need it to be only a 2 or 3 hour drive from the Pittsburgh area. What I'm calling a 3 day hike is probably right around 30 miles.
I'd prefer to be in the Alleghenies but I'm open to other areas. I'm already somewhat familiar with the Alleghenies but most of my knowledge is North Country Trail and the Minister Creek area. I don't have enough time for the Chuck Keiper Trail. I don't trust my fitness level just yet after a recent hospital stay so I'd like to stay away from a "strenuous" hike (I know that's relative).
Right now I'm investigating both western or eastern halves of the Allegheny Front Trail. I welcome anyone's input but I also know that GaliWalker and jmitch might be familiar with the area.
