Five of my most used. I have two bare naked ones that live in their winter quarters. Old LPE milky white pee LPE bottles have DOT reflective tape and not included in this study.

Might be time to replace the duct tape on that one bottle.
I no longer have any nalgene bottles. I may have one collapsible canteen by them, but not sure. I only have stickers on one water bottle, and it is of the metal insulated variety.

Might be time to replace the duct tape on that one bottle. I no longer have any nalgene bottles. I love my collapsible bottle, from Platypus to CNOC, and bladders but still carry one Nalgene for every excursion. In my experience they are much easier to clean and decontaminate to carry electrolyte mixes or water purification tablets when a filter fails. You are right about the tape. I have eight Nalgene's. I only bought four. One was a gift, the other three were trail finds. Off trail finds. On trail, I will leave them on trail.

I don't think I've ever put a sticker on any of my water bottles. Mainly because when I get a sticker the bottles aren't easily accessible. However, the lid of my laptop is a different story.
