I will be in Aurora and hope to do a 3 night trip while in town. I can drive to the trailhead on Thursday June 16 and start hiking early on Saturday. Any suggestions on a 3 night trip?

Wow, sorry to have miss this.
Will you have already acclimated to the altitude or is that why you're staying at "the" trailhead all day Friday?
How far are you willing to drive?
Any limitations or pursuits we should know about?

Working all day Tuesday through Thursday in Aurora, so arriving too late to hike on Thursday. Would like to keep the drive less than 2 hours if possible.

Historically, Lost Creek Wilderness is one of the earlier areas that is hikable, and it's very close to Denver.
Some of the high country got two feet of snow last weekend and snow is forcast for tomorrow. Pay close attention to the weather before heading out.
You might want to check out the recent chatter on 14ers.com. Even if you're not peakbagging, there will be discussions on trail conditions and trailhead access.
I'm not trying to discourage you, I've done some nice trips in June, but you WILL see snow, and a late season storm could bring lots of it.
