I'm thinking about heading down to the Zion and Bryce Canyon area for a week of hiking in mid or late March. Can anyone tell me what type of temperatures and weather conditions I can expect. I know it's just an educated guess, but I'd appreciate your input.
Thanks much.

I would expect sunny and 60s-70s during the day. 30 every night.

Here are your weather links: Bryce Canyon NPZions NPThe temperature difference from Zions to Bryce is due to an elevation variance. If you are staying in St. George, the Marriott Courtyard is reasonable and nice, ask for a south facing room on a high floor. Also, St. George is the home of World's Worst Japanese Restaurant

Thanks, Westy. I seldom stay in hotel/motels. That's what I have a camper shell on my pickup for. The temps look pretty doable for that.

Weather in Southern Utah in March can be iffy. Consider day hiking Buckskin Gulch. No permit necessary for day hike. Backpack (overnight)permits easily available. Natural Bridges NM is also worth a night.
