That’s silly, just snap a photo of it with your phone on the way out.

And… nothing beats being able to check your schedule while standing at the physical therapist’s and trying to schedule the next visit. So… yeah, I like and use both. Technologically, couldn't you have a home cam focused on the wall calendar (always illuminated by a nightlight) and an app on your phone to see the home cam? (@absurdity) Ah, but what if I need to look at next month?

I suppose that would be a problem for the rare person who actually plans that far in advance!

I am still clinging desperately to my flip phone, so yes, my calendars are all paper. Church and nature calendars on the wall, and a weekly/monthly planner for my schedule. Works well for me.

Sometimes next month is tomorrow, you know. Or next week. It's no use trying to throw logic at someone determined to be silly.

Reminds me of Thoreau's maxim, I make myself rich by making my wants few.

I've had an iphone only going back to 2014 IIRC. Though certainly no ludite, it seems I'm slow to embrace technology. I still don't use any daytimer/notes/calendar function on it, preferring a writing tablet. I use a paper calendar I pick up at the lumber yard... it's the same theme every year; Rocky Mountain Wildlife. Coincidentally, I just picked up the 2022 calendar yesterday. I don't keep a diary or journal, so write significant events, appointments, my workouts, snow shoveling, etc., on the calendar. I started keeping them going back only to 2016.
But I also prefer physical books to a kindle, and still wear an analog watch...

I have a big view calendar that’s pretty simple (orange circle for Halloween, orange box for Thanksgiving, red box for Xmas, and red stars (fireworks) for NYE and July 4th. Also put a cash symbol to check portfolio after 1 Jan and before July 4th too. May put down major trips with a line (highlighter, then red pen) through said dates.
I don’t really plan my days anymore but look at weather, program ticket reminders/alerts for trips on iCal, medical appts, business appts (lots of “Zoom”) movie times, etc.. using the above as a reference. I do record calories, fiber in vs output (hike, bike, run, swim) in a journal as well as how the day went.

I can't live without my little Hallmark pocket datebook calendar. Camping reservation dates are already filling in for 2022.
I keep track of temps, exercise, appointments, celestial events etc...
