I just remembered meteorological fall is here...! I love this time of year with its warm days and cool nights. Colors are coming in here. Great time to get outside and explore. Lots of good jazz tunes celebrate fall, but this song is probably my favorite fall tune. Love her voice... m.youtube.com/watch?v=0Cv0o--ymJQHappy Fall, DR

I do not believe in meteorological fall, rather astronomical fall. (hehehe)

I do not believe in meteorological fall, rather astronomical fall. (hehehe) Odd thing is that I don't think either corresponds very well to weather in the Rockies. I suspect whoever invented the term was not from around here. But about jazz: how about Billie Holiday or the early Ricky Lee Jones?

Always seems to me that September 1 ushers in lower humidities and bright skies. Fall is definitely my favorite season: football, backpacking, colors, fewer tourists

Fall is definitely my favorite season: football, backpacking, colors, This!! I'm so looking forward to my fall color hike the end of this month in the UP. Cold nights, brisk mornings, and cooler days makes the perfect time for hiking. Not to mention no bugs!

Fall is my favorite time of year. Drier, cooler, the smell of rotting leaves...

I love summer, and ours is just too short, and our winter is so long. BUT I do love fall...
