One feature to consider is the 6MM heel drop. I rather like the zero drop in my Altra Lone Peak 4.

I was just curious how you came to like a 0 drop shoe. if it was thru research on impact injury or if you just liked the feel.

if it was thru research on impact injury or if you just liked the feel. I did some research, then tried and liked them. I'm not a trail runner, but I sprint in them when playing softball. I still like them after my serious ankle injury.

The 6mm heel drop is not a problem as the La Sportiva trail shoes I use now have a 7mm and 9mm heel drop. A zero drop shoe is not for me. Regards, DR I'm the same with running shoes. Anything below about a 7mm drop and i start feeling it in my Achilles.
