Nothing fancy, but the first two shots were exactly what I was looking to get when I set out for a local lake. Generally, things never line up this neatly with my wildlife photography; it's always something a bit different.

My first time back to Blackwater NWR in a while. The ebird count had 164 Tundra Swans noted and they and hundreds and hundreds of Canada geese and Snowies were in fields and back ponds but all a very long ways off. The reliable , and unfazable Great Blue Herons were more cooperative.
