I just shoveled some dirt from the stone-walled corner of my driveway that formed from decaying leaves in the last couple years. I think that's more like soil than dirt. I think of dirt as the remnants of eroded large rocks and boulders.

The only one I was a little unclear on is #4. Looks like the cubbies in a school hallway or classroom for stowing lunches and stuff? Pay phones They seem too low and too skimpy, by my memory. But that was the only thing I could think of besides school cubbies

Here in Utah, Weston is a semi-common first name. Crazy! Yeah, I've known a few: all approx. 25 or younger, I'd say. I'm not sure where my Weston ancestors came from before Nova Scotia--somewhere in the British Isles, but I don't know where. One might guess Scotland, since that's at least who named Nova Scotia, apparently. I know much more about my maternal family than my paternal family.

Perfect score here. Bu they are wrong about #1. Crock pots are a rage among Millennials right now.

Mrs. big_load still uses a (real) Rolodex I still use small little address books, which I adorn with photos of either wilderness or floral scenes, so that I smile whenever I pick one up. I don't smile when I pick up my cell phone. It's as ugly as it can be. That's one of the things I dislike about tech devices - they're not even attractive. rebeccad , that one stumped me too until someone else mentioned it, then I remembered those old pay phones. I also remember the stand alone phone booths, haven to someone who needed to call for help. I wonder if there are still any in existence any more. Having a cell or smart phone is now mandatory, especially for emergencies. I still have exactly the coffee pot in #28 and only stopped using it when I learned about the potential of aluminum migration. No. 29 is something with which I'm totally unfamiliar. No. 30: I have a lot of good and pleasant memories about drive-in theaters, going up to the food station (or whatever it was called then), getting popcorn, settling in the back of a station wagon and listening to the crackly voices from the big chunky microphone type thing that fit over the window and provided the sound. There was actually a drive-in theater still in operation a few years back, in one of the more rural areas of the county. On a nonpictorial level, do the women here remember having to wear skirts or dresses to school? We weren't allow to wear slacks, not at all, when I was in high school. But we had to wear those one-piece gym suits for mandatory gym class.

On a nonpictorial level, do the women here remember having to wear skirts or dresses to school? In my Catholic elementary school, girls had to wear the stereotypical pleated wool plaid uniform skirts and white blouses. Boys had to wear white shirts and ties.

There's a similar history test here: www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/pictures-youre-old (I had some trouble with this URL; for some reason it kept bouncing me back to the link in the first post here. The first photo of the link above shows an abandoned storefront that might have been a Kmart. I actually have that alarm clock that's #19.

There's a similar history test here I didn't know almost half of the pictures. I'm not a gamer so a few of them I just wouldn't know. Another few are after my time. Maybe I'm too old to have had any experience with the examples.

Westy if you got that at 18, I am 10 years older than you, and I have no idea where my draft card is. I probably burned it. I know what I did, but I'm unsure of the statute of limitations. Or was that covered in President Carter's pardon?

desert dweller, I think it would be that you're too young to have experience with the examples. I had no idea what some of them were, and still don't. I do remember the cassette tapes though; I still have a lot of them.

Or was that covered in President Carter's pardon? Every few years I have to explain why I wasn't registered for the Selective Service. Today's background investigators are too young to remember that registration was suspended between 1975 and 1980.

(Which I think were earlier than most of the ones from your link.)
