Had a blackberry habanero Margarita. Liked it so much I had another. Sounds good. But since contracting Covid I've not been able to taste anything... drinking is an exercise in futility at this point How did I miss hearing this? Sorry to hear about that, and hope you are healing well, and that taste comes back soon.

How did I miss hearing this? Sorry to hear about that, and hope you are healing well, and that taste comes back soon. Rebecca, my wife and I have been in quarantine all week since our positive test results Monday. We were only required to quarantine through this past Wednesday night (10 days after first symptoms), but we're going with prudence and giving it through the weekend. We're good. The symptoms for us have been a hybrid between cold/flu symptoms, with the craziest being the loss of smell and taste... and I do mean NO smell or taste! Thanks for your thoughts.

Had a blackberry habanero Margarita. You're a stronger, and probably better, man than I.

It's Friday, I'm off work, and the Brood X cicadas are about to emerge after sucking on tree roots for the last 17 years. Breakfast.

I was unaware of such a product. Where did you find it? I know a certain LEO Captain that might be interested.

I was unaware of such a product. Where did you find it? I know a certain LEO Captain that might be interested. I know him as well, but don't have his address, or if I did I lost it. They make stronger brews, which I think he prefers. I don't know if it's listed on their website, but I found the image on their facebook page and bought a bag last week at the local farmers market (love that place!). He may be able to find it locally - it's near us. zekescoffee.com/On the other hand, it's Zeke's Coffee, so, um, it could be questionable.

reuben Said LEO response: "Baltimore has a REALLY weird hipster scene. Think art students worshipping John Waters movies. Drag queens, roller derby, boutique professional wrestling events in bars where men with oiled beards and tattoo sleeves flirt with Hopkins co-eds who drive BMW's and drink micro-brew. Zeke's is a staple of that scene."

Still recovering from last night, when I taught a wine class at the college with seventeen wines to taste. And yes, I spit it all out.

At 7 a.m., the Friday bar is a coffee bar. Enjoying coffee and oatmeal and listening to the mourning doves.

Baltimore is eclectic, and that ain't all. Yeah, Artscape, John Waters, Fells Point, JHU Medical and Engineering schools, tony neighborhoods, dangerous neighborhoods, police corruption, Lexington Market, the BSO, the Visionary Art Museum, the Kinetic Sculpture Race... Then there are events like The Night Of 100 Elvises. I went one year. It was quite the event. Don't miss the photo galleries. www.nightof100elvises.com/More KSR - www.avam.org/kinetic-sculpture-race

Well, I'm headed out to boondock down on Granite Creek, hike up Swift Creek tomorrow if the crossing is low enough but its hot so might just hike the East side of Granite up to the Falls Brad Pitt ran in "A River Runs Through It" after returning from the crossing. Hippie dip will almost certainly be flooded and I don't do the Hot Springs Pool unless out of town guests are here. I'm taking some Bud Lights in the cooler so don't give me any grief and drink whatever potion gives you the appropriate motion. Have an awesome weekend folks! From the Granite Hi-Line last Saturday!
