Hazy Little Thing x 3. After unsuccessful hunting for a local campsite in the higher country. No one is staying home...

Lemon Saison growler from a newly-opened brewery in our town—it’s excellent.

Could resist the packaging for this New England style Hazy IPA from Belching Beaver brewery .. Hazers Gonna Haze 6.6 ABV (though some reviews say 8.8%?). Real hazy but loses some hoppiness IMHO. Wish I’d read the reviews (almost 4/5), pretty std hazy IPA but really for haze aficionados. Double Torpedoed by Sierra Nevada double IPA the night before so I may need some R&R.. Gotta love the back though..

Someone has to do the heavy lifting around here ... .. both Friday and Saturday night. So this is Widmer Bros Deadlift Imperial IPA at 8.6ABV. Tastes pretty good like an IPA with the pine forest finish every sip (supposed to be citrus.. whatever).

Timberline lodges Ice Axe IPA after a hard hike... It’s where the Shining’s exterior shots were filmed and in normal times all can usually watch the movie replayed downstairs There’s a bar in the background that the light just can’t get right on .. Now to find a real ax to lend some authenticity to these non-hikers stay (just kidding!)

Here's to good coworkers! Here's to putting the nose to the grindstone, banging the head against the wall, and not taking "No" for an answer. Here's to dogged, relentless, and seemingly ill-advised and unwarranted determination. We're not there yet, but after making a few wild loops, conquering the inevitable issues (some of which had never before been seen), and coworkers who are willing to go along and do the same when the ball's in their court, we're a whole lot closer. On Wednesday I was willing to throw in the towel, back down, settle for what I could get, and try to accomplish the rest next time. Or just quit and retire. Thursday and Friday yielded big breakthroughs, largely thanks to a couple of coworkers. I should know late next week if it was worth it.

Nobody drinking on Friday night....after this week, month, year? Had a Lagunitas Super Cluster and now a Uinta Trader Session IPA. So far... All too busy drinking to post? I’ll be enjoying a large glass of Merlot with my pizza, just as soon as I get off my butt and make the pizza.

Had a blackberry habanero Margarita. Liked it so much I had another. Sounds good. But since contracting Covid I've not been able to taste anything... drinking is an exercise in futility at this point
