Lovely, as always. I especially like the last 4 photos, with the contrasting but complementary blend of delicate and graceful branches and leaves, contrasting with rugged rocks/boulders, and set off by the rushing waters.
As always, thanks for sharing. I feel refreshed and cooled after looking at your photos.

Thanks, autumnmist. I’d done this hike three weekends ago, but didn’t take my camera. The water level in the creek was quite low and I saw numerous compositions for photos, so I felt cheated at not having brought the camera. Fast forward to yesterday and this time I had my camera. Unfortunately, copious amounts of rain had fallen over the past two days. This meant that the creek level was about 3-4ft higher than 3wks ago. All my new compositions were underwater! Still, Slippery Rock Gorge is a beautiful spot and the creek is lovely. |
