Reapers are a great pepper if you like serious heat. It is pretty hot at first then the real heat sneaks up on you in a few minutes. There wasn't much in the jerky if that woman wasn't crying and swearing. One of my favorite shows is Hot Ones. The normal interview show is very funny. This one is a little different. These two are professional pepper eaters and check out their reaction to eating a Reaper (7:30):

I enjoy spicy food a lot, but as I've aged, my desire for super-hot food products has waned to near-zero.
New-Mexico green chile enchilada that makes me sweat a bit? Absolutely.
Carolina Reaper Jerky? No thanks.

Although I got a bit of a late start this year due to the pandemic, I am growing Chocolate Brutlas. They are reported to possibly be the new record holder. I grew Chocolate Habaneros last year and they were painfully hot. The Bhutlas are supposed to be even hotter.
