Gawd Darn Montana: They claim Yellowstone, the Beartooth, and now the Absaroka. Cretins.
Kidding to Seth [great post] aside the Absaroka is the largest sub-range of the Rockies. The "southern" Absaroka is in Wyoming.
Keep Wyoming clean. Dump your trash in Montana. Heeh heeh.
Burp.
Excuse me.

Actually it is important to remember the absarokas and the beartooth highway span both MT and WY particularly if you plan on fishing. Those WY game wardens will ticket Montanans unwittingly fishing on the WY side and vice versa so make sure you buy a license for the location you plan on fishing. If you go to Albino lake most of the hike is in WY, you cross the state line into MT just before you reach Albino lake. Same drainage but you need two licenses. <img src="http://storage.proboards.com/6271026/i/DUSNrXMIovhiOWolTnx2.jpeg" alt=" " class="smile" contenteditable="false" text=" "

We've had a bit of snow up a little higher, but we are way ahead down here. If you want to see Grizzlies on GTNP roadways better gt out there now.
Mid 50s this weekend.
