Here is a trip video from a 4 day backpacking trip into the upper Death Hollow narrows. This is part of the Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument. Death Hollow itself has to be one of the prettiest places i've ever seen. There are 2 portions, upper Death Hollow and lower Death Hollow. In this trip, we start at the Hell's Backbone Road, and go down the upper part of Death Hollow. It's not a technical canyon, but several parts of the route require swimming through narrows. We end up skipping the lower section of Death Hollow because of time restraints. That section of canyon is even better than the upper part, but isn't in this trip video. For anyone interested in a trip report, you can find it here: backcountrypost.com/threads/upper-death-hollow-and-the-old-bowington-road-from-hells-backbone-down-to-the-escalante-river.5430/

You do some amazing work, Joey. Can't believe more people don't show you some love. I don't know ANYONE, not even through hikers, who spend as much time in the backcountry as you do.Then take the time to make videos and report about it! Thanks man.

Thanks again Chuck. I don't care about people showing me love. They know. Most people on here don't like me because I had beef with several posters, including Burntfoot and Swimswithtrout. But i'm coming around on Dave. I think he is sincere. If you like this type of video, watch the next 14. Way better. And Dave will be happy to know I broke the selfie stick while coming down from Nirvana Pass in Glacier. So no more of that. I totally get where he's coming from too. I just think it adds perspective to the videos, including narration. I'll have our Glacier trip video done by next week.

I have found myself in a few squabbles over the years here to Joey, most of us are decent when it comes to forgiveness and I've certainly enjoyed the graciousness of several. I have not met Dave but valued his incredible knowledge for a decade now. I have met and hiked a little with Keith. He too is a good guy, don't let the "errornet" get you down.
Much love here man. I am conflicted about going to Polecat tomorrow. Weather looks good, but I went there on Super Sunday two years ago and you know what happened to my Broncos. We'll see.
