We just had a bald eagle in that same tree that all the vulture are in in the pic. Didn't get a decent pic, though.

There's a special quality that's captured my attention in the photos posted by both GaliWalker and cweston and I finally figured out what it was. GaliWalker, your photos of birds in evergreens, and cweston, your photos of the vultures remind me of the Japanese style of nature paintings. There's a sense of delicacy and interaction of the natural elements with a living creature. |
