Well, dang. Sorry those are a prank—seems like the obvious next step up from the way we girls used to keep combs, hankies, pens, etc. in our socks when I was a kid!

Think the true ultralight philosophy is a Melanzama fleece hoody and 2 Snickers bars (... and pants presumably)

Im surprised no one has produced underwear with pockets Tighty Whiteys have that convenient pocket. Won't carry much that is bigger than a tube of Rolos.

If I have trouble bending over to put stuff in the cargo pockets of my pants, what makes them think I can stoop down to put stuff in the cargo pockets of my socks?

I for one see many excellent applications for this well thought out product. Nothing like weighed down ankles to make a hiker really embrace the suck. I for one will look at these for a simple pack replacement. I'll obviously have to downsize my sleeping bag, pad, and shelter, but I think I can get it all in these bad boys.

We've long been taught to keep the weight on our hips rather than our shoulders. This is just the next step down to true comfort on the trail.

Two inventions I'm hoping for.
Dehydrated water and the weightless 50 pound pack.

I went by REI to look at the Osprey Anti-Gravity suspension on their packs. Total waste of time...pack registered on the scale and I could still feel it on my back.
