I heard Wrightwood and Baldy got 3 feet yesterday. Snow level was 3,000 feet at one point.

Yes it’s totally messing with all the n/s routes over the Tehachapis. Sounds like the I5 (with escort) and I15 are now open. But the grapevine and Cajon pass were a mess. I15 from Baker to Prim was closed for awhile. Yeehaw!!

Oh that is gorgeous. My sis sent a photo of Baldy from her picture window in Rancho Cucamonga. She said it hasn't been that white in a long time.
As for here, folks left Mammoth in droves yesterday. Weird that they all leave at the same time. Schats was a mess. And just wait...much more fun to the south. That's where all the snow was.

Odds are this was a shot from a whale watching boat: they go out from Newport and post these amazing drone shots of whales: one use I’m not objecting to as it’s an entirely new view down into the water to get a look at those marvelous creatures. (Versus a tiny tail at a distance)

That's a spectacular photo. I drove over the Grapevine on I5 last Saturday, a day and a half after the storm. There was 6 inches at Gorman, 4,000 ft.
