Most places I visit twig stoves are banned (categorized as a "wood" fire) over enough of the area to not make that worthwhile, though I could see it for heavily wooded areas. It certainly is nicely space efficient with it folding up.
from my experience with alcohol stoves that design doesn't look efficient enough, just a pan that the alcohol lays in and burns?, to be efficient and with alcohol being a low temp flame efficiency is a big help. Compared to White Box and Trangia etc. that doesn't look promising. But that's just theory, hopefully some one can come in whose used it for alcohol...
